EDSL 854 Leadership for Social Justice A course designed to provide a contemporary and prospective examination of the social, cultural, political, economical and philosophical contexts from which the current issues that affect schools and schooling have evolved. Students will be introduced to a variety of ideas, values, and beliefs surrounding social life, cultural identity, educational reform, and some historical practices. They will then be challenged to explore these constructs from numerous, diverse, and changing perspectives. 3 credits.
