ART-401 Studio Seminar I

Prerequisite: ART-111, ART-112, ART-113, ART-124, ART-133, and ART-205 or ART-206
This capstone experience is the first in a two-course sequence required for Studio Art majors. Students will learn about contemporary artistic practices, develop skills in arts-based research, and produce an independent body of creative work in their preferred artistic medium. Through reflective making, interpretation, iteration, and criticism, students develop a personalized visual language. 4 credits.
