AST-180 Introduction to Korean Language

An intensive three-week introduction to modern spoken Korean the standard language of South Korea and the common language of the Korean peninsula. Students will learn the Korean alphabet (Hangul) and build a preliminary foundation in the four basic skills of language: speaking listening reading and writing. Students will also learn basic elements of Korean culture in order to achieve communication that is appropriate for Korean society. MAY EXPERIENCE ONLY. 2 credits. May Experience ONLY. 2 credits.
