CEM 601 Community Medicine Fieldwork Twelve to fifteen hours per week directly engaging with consumers of community health programs to gain tangible skills in areas not often served by traditional internship or shadowing opportunities. Engaged learning in the field is supported by reflection essays, evaluation processes, and site meetings with course instructor. Exposure will increase awareness to the interconnectedness of socioeconomic issues, behavioral issues, and cultural issues incorporated into health and medicine. 3 credits.
