Data Analytics, Post-Baccalaureate Certificate

Students must complete at least 18 credits beyond the prerequisite courses, all through Furman courses, with a grade point average of at least 2.00 in all courses used to satisfy requirements for the certificate. The pass-no pass grading option may not be used for any course used to fulfill certificate requirements.

Three prerequisite courses must all be successfully completed prior to admission into the certificate program:

one statistics course: BIO-222 Research and Analysis , ECN-225 Statistics for Economics and Business , MTH-120 Introduction to Statistics , MTH-341 Mathematical Statistics , PSY-202 Research Methods and Statistics II or SOC-303 Quantitative Research Seminar
one course with a specific introduction to computer programming: CSC-105 Intro to Computer Science or CSC-121 Intro to Computer Programming
and, one introductory mathematics course: MTH-110 Finite Mathematics , MTH-145 Calculus for Management, Life and Social Sciences or MTH-150 Analytic Geometry and Calculus I
