To fulfill major requirements, students must have at least a 2.00 grade point average for all computer science courses enrolled and all other courses enrolled satisfying major requirements.

which fulfills the Mathematical and Formal Reasoning (MR) general education requirement for Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree candidates.
and, at least two more science courses appropriate for a major in the respective discipline:
which fulfills the Empirical Studies of the Natural World (NW) general education requirement for Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree candidates.
Further considerations
The cognate discipline may include any courses leading to an award of a major in another field of study. The capstone (CSC-475 or CSC-502 ) will serve to integrate the experiences. Specific cognate courses comprising a consistent theme for the IT major will be identified when the student declares their intent to pursue a major.
