CSC-105 Intro to Computer Science GER: MR (Mathematical and Formal Reasoning) A breadth-based, first course in Computer Science and Information Technology through the lens of an interdisciplinary theme. Sample topics include algorithmic thinking, computer design, and a brief exposure to programming. Examples of themes include assistive technology, artificial intelligence, social media, social agents and robots, humanities, games, or any other area that demonstrates significant computer science applications. The first course in the Computer Science and Information Technology majors as well as a Mathematical Reasoning GER. Click here for a list of current topics. 4 credits.
